About Liz

Liz Lester graduated from Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH) in 1992. While in full-time private practice, she pursued her interests in the study of Myofascial Release and other structural techniques and initiated the establishment of a 120-hour Anatomy Review course for health care professionals at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.

To satisfy a desire to bring her experience back to the profession, she returned to CCMH part-time for a number of years to teach massage technique to senior students, before developing and running workshops to teach the Myofascial technique to RMTs.

Always looking for better solutions for her clients' physical issues, she discovered Matrix Repatterning technique in 2003 and quickly recognized its gentle but profound power to assist the physical body in healing at a much deeper level. She became a Certified Matrix Repatterning Practitioner (CMRP) in 2007.

Because Matrix Repatterning therapy results in a more complete resolution of common injuries and pain patterns that so many people experience, her practice since 2008 has been almost exclusive to treatments using Matrix.

Over a 3-year period since certification, she honed her skills as one of the original Matrix Team at the main matrix clinic, alongside Dr. George Roth, DC, ND., the technique's developer, before branching out into private practice in Newmarket and Aurora/King City, and then to Muskoka at Physical Therapy Solutions in Bracebridge, Ontario.
